Actors and Locations

Conserning the issue of actors and locations that will be used in our documentary we have managed to secure specific people and locations that we feel will be of relevance to the documentary as a whole. Dot Star - we have chosen to include Funky House artist Dot Star in our documentary as he is a newly turned funky house artist who used to specialise in grime and hip hop. This will help in highlighting funky houses success and demand, thus drawing artist from other music genres. Also Dot starts hit funky house song ' Stick Up' has its own skank (dance) and we thought this would be an interesting topic to include in the documentary.

We intend to record his interview at Ruby blue club in leicester square. We have chosen this location as it is well known for playing funky house songs on its club nights. Also the interior design of the venue is somewhat immaculate and we feel that this could be an interesting background to keep our viewers engaged. As a back up we have secured Club Metra and Club Asanka. These venues, although not as fancy and well known as ruby blue are still excellent venues to use for our documentary.
We will also have cutaways of him performing his hit song 'Stick Up' at the astonishing 4000+ capacity venue - club matter at the 02 arena.

DJ Logicz- another person who we have chosen to include in our documentary is a swiftly upcoming funky house DJ - DJ Logicz. Our reasoning behind this decision is that he is a Funky house DJ and thus has a lot of knowledge on the subject.

We will be filming him at a famous studio - Stormont studio (where Sam sparrow produced his hit song, black and gold) in Clapham. We have chose this location because we feel it relates to him as a DJ as it is the actual place where he produces and mixes funky house beats. In addition to this we felt that the scenery of music production gadgets relates to music and ultimately funky house and would be a nice background for our viewers to see. In order to keep our viewers engaged in the interview will also have cutaways of DJ logicz scratching and mixing some funky house songs in the studio.

Another location that will feature in our documentary is a funky house clothe store in Croydon called Funky Wear. We believe that showing how funky house slogans have become clothing brands highlights funky house's success.

We will also have snapshots of everyday ravers giving one word answers or phrases on what they think abut funky house in areas such as leicester sqr, stratford rex, 02 arena, train stations, e.t.c. Our main reason for choosing to do this was so that viewers can relate to the average everyday people who are giving their views on funky house as opposed to an established DJ or artist. Finally we intend to film people dancing to funky house in a variety of places such as - Clubs, homes, streets and parks. We feel that this would be exciting for viewers to see and would engage them in the documentary.
